Okie now, most of the stuff regarding this semester is settled, not in the most favorable manner but at least it is the best I can settle for. Next up, will be the matter regarding the application and such. There will be a seminar at college on the US Universities application stuff and most likely I will be attending it. That will be all that I will be talking about studies in today's post. It's the end of the week after all.

After 2 weeks, Bleach episode 155 is out " Rukia Retaliates! Release the Desperate Kidou", no idea why they will say anything about a desperate kidou.... Lousy direct translation I guess. This time the fight between Rukia and Kaien continues, and there were some new flashy moves in it. For one, Kaien has finally shown us his Zanpakutoh( which is actually a trident named Nejibana, and the translation being screw flower, like OMGWTH gay name ), and Rukia also featured some of her trademark skills together with a couple of Kidou ( spells ). Eventually, the Espada's disguise of Kaien got dispeled and revealed the true face of the 9th Espada (freaking hard to say or even spell his name, Aru-something Are-something). It was during then that Rukia gained the confidence to fight without hesitation, knowing that the "person" is not her senpai ( senior ). The episode ended with Mr. 9th Espada's Zanpakutoh release, and revealing what seems to be a giant blob of hollow. Personally, I think that it looks really lame, but well, I'm not the artist. Look at the screenshots, the fake Kaien looks really alike Ichigo, except for the hair color that is.



Speaking of anime, I've been watching a lot of Naruto lately, and I came to this decision. It is a funny anime, the storyline is just okie, and the action is quite mild. Sometimes, I can even feel that Naruto isn't even the main character in the anime, although the anime is named after him. The storyline jumps around a lot, and they can really drag a scene over a course of four to five episodes ( I swear). Overall, it isn't bad, but it isn't really good either. No offense to Naruto fans out there, I still like Bleach more. XD

Recently, there isn't much gaming news but at least I know a couple of release date for some of 2008's triple A title already. For example DMC 4 will be out at the end of the month, if i only had a PS3 to play that. Next, there is MGS4, which is speculated to be out during quarter 2 of 2008. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core will be released on March 25, and also for the PSP, God of Wars: Chain of Olympus's release date will be March 4. The above mentioned are just the games which is sure to be on my list. There are still lots of other great games and if you did notice, the above games are just the one which will be out by the 1st half of 2008.

Let's see what other games are there, oh yeah, Far Cry 2 has the same release date as FF7:CC , Battlefield: Bad Company, possibly within the 1st quarter of 2008, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the DS will be released in the month of March also.

I'm gonna make this a short post, as of now, it has been a week since college started. Mostly I have a lot of trouble with the subjects that I am taking this semester. I might be switching one of my subject to another, but unfortunately that subjects isn't ENL102. I have no idea why but the timetable is kind of screwy. Everything which I would like to take is either fully occupied/ clashing with the timetable of my current subjects.

After doing some research, I found out that for the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Moral Education (that bloody LAN subject) is actually transferable as a Humanities course, which means I do not need Phi101. That is why I have decided to take another natural science subject to replace it. For now, I have my eye set on Chm107, which is some low level chemistry, mainly because the timetable fits perfectly and it is also one of the requirements of UNL. I have to recheck the timetable for General Physics 1 though because it just might be able to fit into the timetable as well.

Regardless of whether I am changing the subjects I am taking, I would still need to attend tomorrow's morning Phi101 class, because the AUP office is only opened at about 9a.m. Oh yea, talking about Phi101, I haven't actually had any class with Mr. Eddy. On the first day, it was basically introducing one another to him, and on yesterday (Monday), he bailed on us at the last minute. It was truly iritating because I woke up at 6a.m. to attend his class and he just canceled it. Worse yet, my next class was at 12. =.="

Also, today my girl girl's grandma had to go for an operation, and it is good to know that her condition is now stable, and hopefully she would be back in the pink of health soon. I hope that she would recover quickly also, and come back home(my girlfriend's house, duh) soon. = )

Screw this......

No chance of getting the change of subjects that I wanted. The class is full, and today is the last day for switching subjects without having to pay extra. Now I have to go through one semester of ENL102 which is possibly redundant and unnecessary for a certain University which I am applying to. Great news. Worse yet, this is probably gonna [CENSORED] up my CGPA once again. I hated language classes ever since .............well, forever, and this just makes it worse. I guess it is my fault again for not choosing the right subject. So all I can say is "Screw Me!!", [CENSORED]-ing retard, why did I [CENSORED] choose this subject in the first place, mother [CENSORED] [CENSORED] [CENSORED].

Enough about the screwed up class, this couple of days, my mood has just been bad. I feel so rebellious, and would argue with anyone if they even ticked me off a little. Just yesterday, I argued with my mom about sending her to Midvalley today, but I still eventually did, because I felt really guilty for shouting at her. These stress is really getting on my nerves, and turning me into someone who is so different, a week ago.

My girlfriend, as always has been sweet and understanding towards me. I complained and complained but yet she was there for me all the time. Unfortunately though, ever since her grandma was admitted into the hospital, she barely had any time to contact me. When she was awake, then I would be sleeping (due to the early morning classes). Since she is always at the hospital till really early in the morning, she will only sleep around dawn, and wake up in the afternoon. So, when she was sleeping, I will be awake and all be bored. The only time I can freely contact her is between the time she wakes up and the time she leaves her home (in the evening) to go to the hospital.

Seeing Ben and Mei in college doesn't help, because it only makes me feel even worse about myself. I really miss my girlfriend, when I am in college, and the only thing I can do is try to keep myself busy with some stuff relating to my studies. Even when I am home, I just read my notes and study, barely touching my PSP, and just today, I started watching Naruto which Szeten has earlier copied into my computer.

Writing in the blog really helps release some stress, which is probably why these few days you all will see me writing (more like complaining) a lot in my blog. For those who dislike reading stuff like this, please do yourself a favor, and just ignore my blog for some time. I would only be writing anything related to gaming when there is actually some big news around. Currently all I read about is speculations about this and that, and it is certainly getting a little old.

Rest-less

Read the title properly, I am actually having a lack of sleep, and not actually having problem sleeping. Starting classes at 8 in the morning is really taking a toll on my lazy ass body, which is not a good thing. Mainly because, I can stone all day long just staring into blank space, or I will be unable to pay attention in class. Worse yet, this is only the 2nd day of the semester. Next week and the following weeks after, I will have to wake up at 6 am every single weekday. 0.o

Also, today's Microecons seems okie but the lecturer mentioned something about being really tough to score A and such. I personally still kinda doubt that would happen since it is a reading subject and all, but since I have no background in business (besides principle of accounting), I can't really say much can I?

For ENL102, it was kinda the same thing also. A- is probably the best I can do in it even though this is just the 1st class. A is impossible in my case, I would have to upgrade my vocab by a lot, which is just not possible within 3/4 months. So, I have kinda decided to drop that sub and go for another. I am still considering either Politic,History of America, or General Physics 1. I will just have to see whether the classes are already full tomorrow. I also need to get everything done by tomorrow because there will still be no extra charges for switching courses, as tomorrow is the deadline.

Also, applying to the Universities is really making me really moody as it is tough to choose from so many of them. I have spent the past two days looking for more Universities, and it seems like the more I look, the more options come into my pool of choices. I seriously have to find some way to narrow all this down, and hopefully get something like a maximum of 5 Unis to apply to. There is just so much to do, and it seems to grow by the day. Stressed out already on the 2nd day of the semester, must find some way to direct all the stress towards. Even that is another task yet to be done, I can't seem to even power up my PSP or double click on one of them icons on my desktop. All this stress is really causing me to lose any mood to game even. Darn you, tertiary!!!

Regarding the application the Unis also, I am still quite worried about another factor, which is the transcript from Alif. I f**king regretted doing an Art course, and it's because of that that my application might not be evaluated at my true potential. I only got a freaking 3.0 CGPA at Alif which really makes it hard for me to apply to those better Universities. I know I kinda screwed up my education in that 1 year time and really nothing can be done about it.
Darn you, freaking stupid results from ALIF!!

After ranting everything out (or in this case, typing it out), it really does feel a bit better and I guess theres nothing better to do but to face this cruel reality. Ending this post with something funny which I found today while surfing the net.

Another Bleach-less week.

Since there is no Bleach anime to be released this week, I will just be posting up screenshot from last week's episode. I know it is a tad bit too late for it, but nevertheless the summary from the previous episode: There was a very brief fight scene between Chad and his opponent which shown him getting beaten quite badly. After that it was mostly about Rukia and his long lost friend (or is he?). They chatted about a couple of things including how his friend(Kaien-dono) managed to survive the coup-de-grace done by Rukia to him while his body was being controlled by a hollow. As they chatted, Kaien acted suspiciously once in a while, which really caused her to doubt whether that was really her friend. Eventually, he got Rukia pissed off and eventually, she started attacking that so called "friend" of hers. That was about it for that episode, and below are some snapshots I took.

Back to my daily talk, well today was fun, Philo was just a brief intro class and Cal 2 was about doing some revision on Inverse Function. Everything is still light and easy in that sense. If only every class was like that. Guess that's not going to happen, but anyways I am hoping that Microecons will be more interesting and well English Composition 2, no comment for that as ENL101 has left a bad taste in my mouth already. After class I went to have lunch with Kai and Mei at Asia Cafe. I felt like a spotlight all the while when I was with them. Yet it was fun to be able to spend time with friends rather than just gaming at home(at least for now).

Ben and me talked about bringing our laptop next time to college for some LAN gaming but just couldn't pick the right game for it. I personally would pick Gears of War, but in order to play on Co-op mode, we have to have windows live GOLD membership, what a rip off. Yet we can still play online matches if we wanted to. Now all he has to do is get a way to sign in to a Windows Live profile without a product key. LOL! Of course a lot of other games can also be played online but it wouldn't be fun either if it was just the two of us LAN-ing. Like me and Ben said, playing Crysis will be like a game of tag which applies to both side. Hunt and be hunted, one on one. It would be as fun as drinking soup with a fork. (I know I have used the phrase a couple of time Ben, but I just couldn't remember where I picked it up and it is a good comparison=P).

So the beginning of the year is turning out all right, and I can just hope that things stay that way. I do not want to get bored of my semester this early.

I noticed that recently my gaming blog doesn't seem so much like one because well I have not been doing much talking about it. Don't worry though, 2o08 is a good year for games, with title such as Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, God of War, Crisis Core, and many more. It is possible that 2008 will have a line up of non-bigshot game which are as good, if not better than those from 2007, like Bioshock. Let's just wait and see for ourselves, and I will keep this blog updated with those info.
